Each oyster shell is handpicked off the beaches of Southeastern Connecticut. Ethically and sustainably sourced, no oysters or oyster beds are harmed or disrupted. The shells are then cleaned, decoupaged, painted and sealed for a shiny porcelain-like finish. The back of the shell is kept in its natural state. Each shell comes in a gold stamped, magnetic closure box, perfect for gift giving.
Cupped oyster shells measure approximately 3.5-4.5 inches long and 2-3 inches wide. However, some shells are slightly smaller or larger. Shape and size vary, and no two shells are exactly alike.
Since the pattern on each shell is decoupaged from a larger piece, the exact pattern shown on each oyster will vary slightly. Each oyster shell is made to order, and no two shells will be exactly alike.
